From requirement to production.
A coating performs as part of the complete cutting system. Substrate condition, edge preparation, tool geometry and machining temperature all influence the coating choice and the final result.
Our workflow combines inspection, surface preparation, batch organisation, CemeCon HiPIMS PVD deposition and final control. AlCr- and TiAlSiN-based systems are selected according to material and machining conditions rather than by colour alone.
